Armor is a 2024, action, and Crime Movie directed by Justin Routt, and the movie features a strong cast including Stallone, Josh Wiggins, Dash Mihok, Jason Patric, Laney Stiebing, Erin Ownbey, and Jeff Chase. It’s set to be released in theaters and also on VOD (Video on Demand) starting November 22.

There is an exciting new trailer for a film that is released under the title of Armor that has recently been launched online. The trailer features none other than Sylvester Stallone, or rather, Rambo; and going by the trailer, the movie must be one heck of a ride. A fictional narrative revolves around a father and son who are both employees of the armored truck company and security guards. They are always cornered during their job and this turns bad within a short duration. This is the reality of life now; people need to fight for their existence.

The Armor Trailer

To begin with, the first scene of the trailer shows Stallone’s character and he has his lines where he mentions Murphy’s Law. He explains it like this: >Brian’s phrase was popular among engineers and became famous all over the world after the happenings of the worst possible day – “If something can go wrong, it will go wrong, at the worst possible time”. It leaves an ominous impression of what is yet to be witnessed in the movie. We then meet the second father and son duo where they are security guards for an armored truck company. They are just performing their duties as expected but then, Stallone and his crew of robbers ambush their truck. The father and the son attempt to scream for assistance, although the situation deteriorates in a matter of moments. They are pursued and finally, the armored truck ends up on a bridge and gets trapped the rest of the movie is about how the both of them escape from impending doom.

What does this movie entail in terms of the future of Sylvester Stallone’s acting profession?

It’s quite thrilling to watch Sylvester Stallone back on the action-thriller, for that has been his staple genre since the start of his acting career. While he is a part of Tulsa King season 2, he has not starred in a complete action movie after The Expendables 4 in 2023. His return to action in Armor is a particularly significant event for those fans who like his early films when he played a macho hero transformed into an action star.

However, this time Stallone is up to something a little bit different than what audiences are used to. In Armor, he does not assume the role of a hero but rather a villain. In most movies, Stallone is always the one regarded to be fighting off the wrongdoers and saving the day but in this film he is the one leading the wrongdoers, a group of criminals out to attack the father and son security guards. Despite all the activities, which make one think it is Stallone, who is a troublemaker, the true conflict is between a father and son struggling for survival. This is quite a change for Stallone, and it is rather intriguing to witness the actor in this new light.

Who’s the Real Hero in Armor?

A strong narrative element of controversy of the Armor trailer is that it never lets the viewers decide who the protagonist of the show is. Usually, in such films, one would anticipate the scenario to elaborate on those who are in a position of struggling and escaping the trouble. However, the introductory sequence of the trailer introduces Stallone and the other criminals of the crew. Such a situation makes the audience question whether they are to support Stallone’s team or the father-and-son combination. It will be quite intriguing to see how the story pans out in the event of the movie’s release.
